Principal Investment Strategies
The following principal investment strategies will be used:

Investing principally in shariah-compliant short-term financial instruments, which are for example: Murabaha, Wakala, Mudaraba and Musharaka transactions, fixed income instruments, swaps Shariah alternatives, repurchase agreement (repo) and reverse repurchase agreement, and assets backed securities.

The Fund investments are concentrated in a selection of short-term financial instruments with counterparties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia licensed by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency or with other international counterparty licensed by reputable central banks. The maximum exposure of the Fund with any single counterparty shall not exceed 30% of the Fund's NAV. However, such limit shall not be applied to the Fund when dealing with the Fund Manager or any of its affiliates pursuant to Article (26) of the Investment Fund Regulations, "Principal Transactions".

In exceptional circumstances, the Fund may retain 100% of its assets as cash.
