Abdullah Abduljabbar is currently Chief Executive Officer of Sanabil Investments and is a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors and Investment Committee. He brings over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in the financial sector, both locally and internationally, across investments, strategic planning, banking, advisory, corporate finance, and capital markets.

Prior to joining Sanabil, Abdullah established Marco, a boutique strategic advisory firm providing services to local and international organizations as well as leading various initiatives to help realize Saudi Vision 2030. 

Before setting up Marco, Abdullah led the Strategy and Business Development Division at Bank Albilad, a leading KSA-based bank. Prior to that, he worked with the Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) for eight years since its inception in 2004. During his work at CMA, he assumed numerous roles, including Head of Listing for which he was seconded to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) during which he subsequently led international relations for the CMA.

Abdullah sits on the Boards of Savvy Games Group (which is chaired by HRH the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia), SNB Capital, Richard Attias & Associates Company, Caffeine Inc., and Performance 54 Group. 

Abdullah graduated from California State University, Hayward (USA) in June 1998 with a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science. He also successfully completed the Chase Manhattan Bank’s Credit Training Program in New York City in 2000.
