About
Abdullah Alghursan was appointed as Chief Legal and Governance Officer at SNB Capital in November 2023. Abdullah has over 20 years of experience in the field of banking services, securities, rules and regulations in addition to corporate governance.
Prior to joining SNB Capital, Abdullah has held key positions such as Chief of Legal, Governance and Compliance (LG&C) & Board Secretary at Riyadh Capital, and previously at Samba Capital. He also held managerial positions in the Capital Market Authority (CMA), where he was seconded to the United States' Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Subsequently, he founded the Investor Protection Department at the CMA and developed its mandates.
Abdullah holds a Master's degree in Law from the "Arab East Colleges", the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a Master's Degree of Science in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, United States of America. In addition, he holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, King Saud University.
